This impeccable 20 year old straight Kentucky Bourbon whiskey was selected from Pappy Van Winkle’s private stock and bottled at 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV) for their Family Reserve series in 2015 and comes with fine black velvet bag.

Filled from charred American oak barrels, this limited release Bourbon is released in very small batches annually, with supply being unable to keep up with demand, and continues to receive a celebrity status with unprecedented levels of hype.

Yet another big award winning Pappy, this 20 year old (first released in 1994) was awarded a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2016 whilst also picking up the Best Bourbon at the 2015 ceremony.

There have been four generations of Van Winkle’s working for the company since Julian Van Winkle III was joined by his son Preston in 2001. The Van Winkles decided to move all distilling to the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky in 2002 – previously it was produced in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.

The #1 rated Bourbon Whiskey in the world with a 99 out of 100 rating by the World Spirits Championship. This bourbon is aged 20 years and bottled at 90.4 proof for a wonderfully smooth and rich profile.
