Suntory Hakushu 25 Year Old Rare Limited Edition is one of the best collections ever. Suntory is the oldest whisky-making company in Japan. Its origins stretch back to a small shop, started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, which specialized in selling imported wines. Today, it is the country’s largest and most recognizable producer of quality whisky.

Furthermore, Hakushu 25 Year Old Limited Edition is a very limited and rare whisky from Hakushu.  Also, this 25 Year Old was awarded the Best Japanese Single Malt – WWA 2016. Sealed with a five-cord ‘Mizuhiki’, which symbolizes joining hands and heart of the giver with the recipient, this is the very essence of Japanese hospitality. However, the Suntory Hakushu 25 Year Old Rare Limited Edition was founded in 1923 by Shinjiro Torii, Yamazaki is Japan’s first bona fide whisky distillery. Sitting in between Osaka and Kyoto – served by the converging rivers of Katsura, Uji, and Kizu – the stills are varied in shape, size, and line arm position and some are direct-fired while others are steam-heated. Moreover, all of which allow for the creation of many different styles of spirit destined for blending as well as bottling as single malt.

Finally, only around 100 of these limited edition bottlings were produced. Sealed with a Mizuhiki, the five-corded knot symbolizing a joining of hands, this edition celebrates Japanese hospitality. From Suntory’s mountain distillery, found deep within the forests of Mount Kaikomagatake Hakushu is owned by Suntory, the founders of the first Japanese distillery, Yamazaki. In conclusion, the original Hakushu distillery was built in 1973, with another distillery building called Hakushu Higashi (west) added in 1981.
